Rest Area and Fresh Air I

Day trip to Museum BroekerVeiling, the oldest sailing auction in the world!

Completely catered, 5-hour stay, for € 42.05 p.p. for adults and € 35.25 for children

10am

After reception we start the visit to the museum with coffee or tea with something sweet.

11am

The guides* will take you through the museum during the tour and will be happy to update you on the life of the horticulturists and their families around the year 1900. Gives you an impression of a horticulturist's day at work around 1900.

12.00

During the cruise through the realm of 1000 islands, you will feel like a horticulturist on his way to the auction with his vegetables. You hear, see and feel how things were a century ago.

13.00

After the cruise we serve the Langedijker Lunch. This lunch is served at the table and consists of homemade seasonal soup, a croquette sandwich, a slice of West Frisian krentemik, and a vegetable wrap. With coffee, tea or orange juice.

14.00 hours

The highlight of the day! You take a seat at the trader's place in the authentic auction benches. You can feel the tension as the auctioneer praises the vegetables and you stop the auction clock and determine the price.

3 p.m

End of program. Of course you are free to view the museum on your own.
